"Petra delivered a lunchtime talk for the Swiss Osteopathic Federation on Introduction to Menopause & Beyond with particular emphasis on genito-urinary issues associated with menopause. Her capturing presentation was clear, informative, and well-structured, offering a wealth of references and resources for our members to explore both before and after the session. Feedback from attendees was very positive, and we would be pleased to recommend Petra as a speaker. "

"The Scottish Osteopathic Society were delighted to invite Petra to teach her one day course on Menopause, the patients journey. The course was expertly delivered with a well balanced mix of lectures and discussions. Members reported positively on the quality of the course and their ability to put the information into practice from day 1 back in their clinics. Highly recommend this course if you are looking for a clear management plan and how to empower patients who are perimenopausal and postmenopausal."

Bio:

I graduated as an osteopath from the British School of Osteopathy (now Health Sciences University) almost 12 years ago, I then completed the Diploma in Paediatric Osteopathy, and the Diploma in Women's Health Osteopathy. I’ve been taking courses on female health including continence issues, gynaecology, and menopause on a regular basis. I also observed at Guy's Hospital's specialist menopause clinic. I regularly attend educational events organised by the Royal College of Obstetrics & Gynaecologists and the British Menopause Society, and the International Menopause Society of which I am a member. Since my graduation I practised in England and 3 years ago I moved to Orkney Islands in Scotland where I give talks for the public on female health topics including the menopause.
